Journal of Agricultural Resources and Environment (ISSN 2095-6819, CN 12-1437/S) is a national academic and scientific journal. Established in 1984, it was previously published under the titles International Agricultural Environmental Protection and Agricultural Environment and Development. The journal is administered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, co-sponsored by the Agro-Environmental Protection Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Chinese Society of Agricultural Ecological and Environmental Protection, and published by the Editorial Office of the Journal of Agricultural Resources and Environment. It is a bimonthly publication, issued in odd-numbered months.

The mission of the Journal of Agricultural Resources and Environment is to establish an academic exchange platform for researchers in agricultural resources and environment in China, fully reflect cutting-edge research and applied achievements in these fields, and promote the development of agricultural environmental protection in the country. It primarily reports and exchanges new theories, technologies, methodologies, and practical experiences in agricultural resources, agricultural environment, and related areas, providing theoretical and technical support to advance the discipline of agricultural resources and environment.
