On 14th June 2016, Agro-Environmental Protection Institute(AEPI) held a "Sino-Finland Academic Seminar on Environmental Pollution Prevention and Control of Animal Husbandry in Erhai Basins" in Dali Comprehensive Experimental Station.

Tianzhi Ren, Director of AEPI, said LUKE-AEPI cooperation is crucial in areas including developing cooperative research in Dali pilot site, strengthening mutual visits, applying joint projects and carrying out professional training.

On March 26, the 4th working group project meeting of Sino-England Sustainable Agricultural Innovative Collaboration Network(SESAICN) was held in Suzhou.

September 10th to 14th, Prof. RenTianzhi and his colleagues attended the mid-term project workshop in UK. The project“Knowledge, policy and practice for sustainable nutrient management and water resources protection in UK and Chinese agro-ecosystems” is sponsored by MOA and Defra.
