Innovation Team of Monitoring and Precaution for Cropland Environment

Focusing on critical national demands such as farmland protection, the team revolves around the domain of agricultural environmental monitoring. Their research encompasses spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of typical pollutants in farmlands across the country, monitoring and evaluation techniques for farmland soil environments, and early warnings along with intelligent decision-making systems regarding typical pollutants in farmlands. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the team has provided technical support to governmental departments like the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection. They have led or participated in 19 projects at national and provincial levels; published over 50 academic papers (including 27 SCI-indexed articles); released 8 monographs; secured 29 patents (among these, 11 invention patents); registered 36 software copyrights, with 2 software products officially recorded. The team has attained three ministerial/provincial level awards including the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Tianjin Municipality, the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Hubei Province, and a First Class Award for Achievements in Nationwide Agricultural, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, and Fishery. They were honored with the First Prize for Integration of Industry, Education, and Research in 2020 and the Excellent Team Award for Commercialization of Research Outcomes from the CAAS in the same year; they received one national endorsement and one ministerial/provincial endorsement, alongside the submission of three crucial technical reports.
