Innovation Team of Rural Environmental Damage Identification and Assessment

Addressing significant national needs such as reforms in environmental damage compensation systems and soil pollution prevention in agricultural lands, the team carries out research in identifying damage to agrarian receptor environments, baseline levels, determination methods, and causality between receptor damage and environmental pollution or ecological destruction. Having successively managed over 30 projects at or above the ministerial-provincial level, including projects from the National Key Research and Development Program and the National Natural Science Foundation, the team has published 11 volumes and over 30 high-level papers. Leading the formulation and revision of 11 industrial standards, the team has spearheaded or contributed to nearly 20 documents, management approaches, laws, regulations, and technical specifications. The team has completed over 300 appraisals, with more than 30 involving complex cases of significant and extraordinary nature, providing technological support to over 80 counties and cities across 30 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) throughout the nation.
